HGV Class 1 / LGV CE drivers required for long term ongoing contract for Terberg shunting with a large prestigious client specialising in the global retail market.
You will be a part of a large friendly team operating on a 379 acre site shunting trailers between inbound docks, outbound docks and the trailer parks.
The contract is ongoing for participants who have the right attitude, there may be the opportunity of a full time position with the client if one becomes available.
Terberg experience is an advantage along with a small amount of computer knowledge but this is not essential as training will be given where required. Whist on shift the instructions for the various trailer movements are delivered via an on board software system which will give information such as trailer number, collection point and destination within the site, the system also collects data about the timings of the trailer movements of which will be given to the drivers during the following week.
Drivers require the following to be able to be supplied to the client, unfortunately these have to be adhered to as it's an insurance led criteria.
You must have
Held a Class 1 / CE licence qualification for a minimum of 2 years
Had at least 180 days vocational driving experience within a period of 24 months
Have no more than 6 points for minor offences
Do not have DD, DR, CD, CU, IN, or TT endorsements
